Is this Axle Wrap?

I did some searching and some googling, but I dont really get axle wrap. That's why I'm making my own thread to see if what I experience is axle wrap or not. When i press on the brakes, sometimes I feel as if the tires skip around and the back axle was like a twisted spring that lets go and kinda jumps around. Is that it? If not what can it be...

HOLY SHIT! That really is an extreme example of axle wrap!

 

still gives you good idea what it looks like.

 

axle wrap does not just occur when you hit the brakes, it is present under load as well... for example accelerating. if you get an AAL it should help reduce axle wrap... but at the same time you dont want to just start blindly throwing parts at the truck. what youre describing sounds a little worse than just axle wrap, i had a small amount in my reg cab when i used blocks to lift the rear, and it was nothing like what youre describing...
