Where the hell you been all this time? ;-) Glad you finally made it.

As to a mod day a few of us are on the east side of the Mississippi that have some parts and projects starting to pile up and the idea was kicked around. I have a shop with an air compressor that we can use in St. Clair county about five minutes from Scott AFB.

The thought of a low key family oriented camping get together was tossed out too which we are almost always down for here at our house especially now since we can keep the truck packed with camping gear and ready to go short of food and drinks. Some of us like to get outside but have pretty young kids that may not be ready for a true "wheelin' to the secret spot" type weekend yet but something a little tamer can serve as a way to get together and meet up and maybe as a jumping off point for other types of planned activities.

If any of this strikes you as interesting then hit me up via PM and I'll try to hammer something out with the interested parties to sort out what will work the best as far as the mod day and maybe some camping or something.

We've been talking about starting to do more camping lately, and have been searching for a travel trailer or shell, difficult decision with those. Like the flip pac but not the shell... you have some pics of that flip pac?

Hey guys. I unfortunately got rid of the Tacoma and made the switch to a Tundra. I loved the Tacoma but I must admit the Tundras are an all around great truck. Still cruise the site though. Anyways back to the subject at hand...the Tundra needs a few essential mods and to help fund them I'm looking to sell my carry piece. I'm not sure if it is okay to post here but I'd like to make it a FTF deal for ease. It's a third generation Glock 27 which is .40 caliber for those who may not know. It is a subcompact version and was originally purchased by me new a year and a half ago. To date I have put roughly 600 rounds down the tube and it is in excellent shape for an EDC. The sale includes the original hard case, papers, plastic cleaning rod, speed loader, two factory eight round mags and one extra eight round mag with the Pierce finger extension. I will throw in two boxes of ammo with the deal as well. I've got a Milt Sparks Summer Special IWB leather holster that can be purchased for additional cash. Without the holster I am looking to get $450 for the package. Cash with a bill of sale to any valid CCW holder. We will do a transfer at a FFL if you do not have a CCW. I would need an extra $90 to part with the holster as it is a $130 holster new with shipping after a serious wait time. Feel free to email me with any questions. Ncampbell819@att.net. Thanks fellas. Can't post pics from the old iPhone but will email to all who are interested.

Nick at Pacific Guns (in Pacific) has a nice moded taco...and a nice shop

This fall is another Toyota off road event at SMORR in September. Toyota Landcruiser event but tacos are welcome. Great trails, great camping sites and wonderful wheeling families. It will be my 4th year going. Check it out on TLCA site, SMORR or IH8MUD.com

Flatnasty Off Road Park, its a little bit past Rolla. Awesome trails. We did a bunch of yellow and greens, got kinda hairy in a few spots, but the fatty 5th made it through!

Hey fellas...thought I would ask around here before ordering stuff off the internet...

Has anyone added extra "d" rings to their 2nd gen truck beds? If so did you go with OEM d rings or aftermarket? Buy them locally?

Also I'm looking for a bed mat for the standard length bed.

Any leads on this stuff please share! Thanks!

    Phil

I bought the aftermarket milsurp rings that required opening the hole a little to accommodate the smaller hole. I have the tool for that, and the big torx driver to remove the stock bed bolt. I borrowed (for free) the torque wrench from O'Riely's to do the job. Those bolts need some extra power to get out. I put a couple notches in them so the rings won't rattle.

Excellent! Where did you buy those milsurp rings from for only $.99?

    Thanks!
