I just want to know what you think of it after using it. Pictures just don't do it justice.

We talked with the builder on Friday. Told him the things we want to do and the changes to the plan we want to make. We will have to see what kind of $$$$ that will cost.

    That will come later.

I'm lobbying for the over sized 3 car garage/man cave/woodworking shop right now.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I like that option... I would love to make the garage bigger.

The standard garage is 21 x 21 on this plan

    I want mine 24x 25 on the 2 car side and 12 x 32 on the 3rd car stall

That would be a nice big 3rd car stall. More for a boat I am guessing?

Never scrimp on storage areas and garages.

Definitely not. We found that out in the house we have now. The garage is TINY and the storage space is limited.

21' is too small, that would only give you ~20" of room front and back to get around your truck.

That's what i have now. with 18" wide shelves in front of my truck. My truck has to be within 5" of the shelves to get the garage door closed. I can't have my hitch on

don't skimp on lighting in the garage either, can never have too much light in a garage... although this was close IMO, but it's what the customer wanted.

this was a 30' x 26' addition we put onto the existing two car garage. between the existing garage and the addition there's 36 4' fixtures.

Try to install some type of curtain in a runner to separate the garage when you are working on wood projects to keep the dust from the other parts of the garage.

Back to polishing the Tacoma. Took a little break.

I like that Idea Tom. it would also help to keep the water off the wood when washing vehicles.
