bilstien 5100 boot up or down?

    cut the boots off... they just fall off after a while anyway + they hold crap in there. I think one of mine has been hanging off for months.

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    I could make a case that the boots have weep holes and that being boots down keeps the seal lubricated... and it looks better

    (2) 3/16" small holes that fill full of mud water :(

    Mine are/were up. A simple hose clamp would do, but much easier to clean good without them. None of the big 3 use boots on their shocks :notsure:
