Both door handles broken, cant get in.

in Texas a few years back they made it illegal to carry around lockout kits or locksmith tools with out a locksmith licenses even though you can by them in some places without one. i bought my kit to unlock fellow co workers cars
( for a low low fee )after one winter in ohio i lock my keys in and lock smith wanted 200 dollars to come unlock my truck cause a few snow flakes hit the ground ( he was ten miles away) .so i put my kit up ( do to law change in texas). i only made what i bought the kit for anyways.

 

owned a 92 nissan with both door handle busted.i kepted one window half way down so i could open it from the inside.locked myself out one time ended up going throuh the front windshield cause it was already craked.good luck

 

Um..guys ? He didn't say anything about the truck being locked. The door handles are broken off if I read correctly. I'm thinking he's looking for a way to hook something in the door with a coathanger or something similar to get in.

That was never a secret. I've mentioned it several times before...Some members have even come to my work to say hello.

 

Yeah...unlocking it would not help if the handles are broken.

Best would probably be just to break the window that's easiest to replace, or open the rear sliding window and hook the inside door handle to open a door.

 

What's the "lower portion" of the rear sliding window that is "not bottom"

That would be an option but not the one I'm talking about. If you want to pm me I'll tell you but, I'm not going to put it out on the open forum for any thief to pass by and see how to get into our trucks.

BTW I'm only talking about 1st gen tacoma's not 2nd gen.

 

the side where the latch is. the bar for the latch obstructs putting in objects. so lets say lower corner.

Who would want to drive around in a car with two broke door handles and some broken windows anyways? Just leave it.

 

who doesnt carry a hammer in their purse, all the girls i know have a hammer of some sort :/
