I'm down to get a meet going every month! I'd definitely like to know more about the areas around here. As long as I can make it in my stocker height, I'll be there :D

So what's the plan for Saturday? Does 10am work for everyone? Do you guys want to meet at the trail head parking lot by the "B" or in Bountiful somewhere?

This will be a stock friendly trip.

Five trucks started out. Only four of us made it to the lake. One had to drop off early due to family/friends in town. We also had no hurry to get back and the weather was nice enough so we set camp and spent the night. good times

Oh nice!! Yeah our older meets had more trucks but less and less people started showing up and it seems like now there is only a handful of us oldschoolers out there. I hope I can make it to a meet again with you guys but I am always so busy!!

We had a pre-runner with us last time we did this trail that to my knowledge only needed a pull one time.

Do you have the rear locker?

Skyline is a dirt road but once we get past the towers on Francis Peak (AKA Farmington Peak) with some good driving and the rear locker you will be fine.

That was a great time guys. Greg, and James were excellent guides for us newbies. Greg (in his monster rig) was so reassuring... "Ohh you'll be fine".

Whats funny is, he was always right. We didn't know what the trucks could do without huge tires. It impressed me for sure.

Thanks to James for letting me use your pass to get into the canyon.
Thanks to Greg for heading out with me in the morning. It was very nice of you to ride with me.
Thanks to Mike and Donny for being so cool to my kids. I'm sure they dampened the party a little and I could tell you were being real careful about the cussing, etc. You guys are stand up dudes. No kids next time.:)

After washing off the mud, I found a little damage but nothing really to sweat. The slidders totally saved me a few times.

Here are some picks I grabbed.

This is my tribute to someone who has a shot like this for their Sig page ;)

Camera phones dint do the full moon rising over the mountain top. It was sooo much bigger in person.

I cant believe we ran this muddy rut. The left side was mid door height. What a rush to blast into the mud and then take your hands off and let the rut steer the rest of the way out. It was like putting my truck on a train rails.

Ill post a video of it next.

    Great time guys.
