Looks like I'll be heading up Friday night to camp as well. It'll be my first time to Pismo so I have no idea where/what Pole 12 is..... but I can bring some wood!

Is pole 12 where they have the beach closed, and in pretty deep on the soft shit? Last time I was there the beach shitters were alphabetical,

 

nope, pole 12 is on sand highway. the mile marker poles only go to 9 or 8. right now its closed at 6 or 7. how to get to pole 12 on sand highway is after pole 4. itll say "Sand Highway" with an arrow point east on a brown sign with white lettering. go left there and go straight back. might be a few drops on the fence line of the left but stay in the middle. then once youre kinda far back (2 or 300 yards, youll look down and to the left and that is where we should be camping if i can get that spot. it protects from the wind too.

yeah getting there is flat and down hill. leaving you might need a tug or a decent run up which you will have

friday monring around 9am for me along with RJ. im going to swing by thrusday evening and try and rope off our area so no one takes it thursday night but not promises.

Yeah, me and brian are going early to get us a good camping spot. HOPEFULLY we can get the spot that's by that whoop section so i can play all day.. And hide from the wind
