What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Pulled off my TRD stickers and all my emblems. Painted my Tacoma emblems black and will put them back on once I paint my rims black too

 

Plus you can buy a 20 dollar obd2 Bluetooth dongle and use the torque app for android as a scangauge / UG alternative and see some live readings from the ecu.

Of course! That was my first thought. But it wasn't there the night before, and was the next morning. First thing I heard as I pulled out of the driveway in the a.m. was the distinctive tapping that happens when you have a rock in the tread, but louder. Impossible to miss loud. Neither the wife or I heard it when we parked the truck the night before so unless someone drove it while I was asleep...lol

I suppose it's possible, but as loud as it was and the way in was in there lead me to believe otherwise.

Spent the last two days detailing the Tacoma. I had bought a new wax that I wanted to tryout a few weeks back. The wax is DodoJuice Purple Haze. It was on sale with$20 off and free shipping.



Procedure :

Wash Truck

Claybar with some Pinnacle clay I had lying around.

Single stage polish with Menzerna Micro Polish. There were very few scratches and spider webmarks.

Two coats of Zaino Z2P.

Two coats of Dodo Juice Purple Haze. The first coat was a little tough to put onbut the second coat went on rather easily. Total wait time between coats was 16 hours.

Used DP Wheel Glaze on the wheels and Zaino Z16 on the tires.

Oh, and 95SLE your truck looks awesome. I'm too lazy to own a black vehicle now, but they sure look nice waxed up.

I was too, but at idle, and with 2 hoses there didn't seem to be very much resistance at all.

Just use longer hoses...

I did paint it black maybe it's just the lighting + had to take it apart again my headlight fogged up again

 

Let me know if you find dead moles all over the place. They are killing my yard. I bought some trapline mole traps that should work, but setting them is a pain. I've had them out a few days and no luck.

 

HID reverse lights???? Thats almost pointless as u would have to wait a min for them to warm up to be able to see to back up! haha

 

That would be a sweet business to own/operate!
