morning all: time to mow, "AGAIN". all this moisture and warm weather is really pushing the grass.

Had some blood samples taken this morning and I still do not feel 100%. This was just a scheduled sample taking. I have my yearly physical next month. Oh Yea.

We have severe weather in the DC area tonight. So far the storm is to the west of where I live and going up the I95 corridor towards BWI airport and Baltimore. We are expecting tornados.

High winds and lots of rain here in northeast PA, too. A good night to be inside reading a book. I'll be heading into bed early to do just that - reading the recollections of a WWII Russian sniper.

Same storm is now here in Maine and expected to stall long enough to give us 5" or more of rain on top of the 4" last week. Over 4 cords of wood cut and split in my lower fields on the Saco river and the river is high all ready.

 

evening all: so far these storms are more of a nuisance than anything. wouldn't want to live in an area where they are causing flooding and the constant threat of tornadoes.

afternoon all: OH GREAT! just read a post on another forum concerning medicare.
the guy posted that the medicare premium isn't fixed, and that it goes by income. he mentioned that an IRA rollover could really jack your premium up for 1 yr. ????
If that's the case, I'm going to be paying top dollar, because of the rollover I did.
funny, I did everything right, and every time I turn around I'm getting penalized for it!
SHOULDA BEEN A BUM!
just ordered tires for the "66" from Summit. figured I better get them before the goverment takes all my money.
