your front end is identical to the pickup (86-95) so depending if you are 2x or 4x all those kits will work. the big difference is going to be the rear. in 89 4runners went to a mini 4-link instead of leaf springs.i installed some ome coils and i played with the factory set-up a bit and was able to pull 13" of travel and ran a 12" bypass which got me by. to do a true 4link on a runner is a waste of time imo cause you would basically be giving up your back seats. the guys over at solo made some longer links and threw heims on the ends which helped out but still didnt get the travel numbers as a leaf pack could. also the standard f67 pack that almost every pickup runs wont work for the runners(too heavy in the rear) so you would need to have a custom pack built to handle the weight. hopefully that answered a few of your questions but feel free to ask away.

Ok so new to this... I was just wondering been doing a lot of reasearch and can't find a LT setup. I want my truck to be a weekend wheeler but still be a daily driver. With all the different things like shocks and stuff i dont know where to turn. What would you recommend from experience. Also is there anyway to not have to use the whole bed if you put in a LT on the front and rear?

Read, learn, and then ask questions. We'll be better able to assist with specific questions.

As for not using up your whole bed, look for "bedsaver cages". Giant Motorsports offers a bolt-on setup if you're not a welder. Engage has a nice setup that's far less expensive and get welded in place.

Everything goes together as a system. Best way to start is to decide how you'll use your truck and if you really need LT. After that, figure out what your budget is.

If you're looking for functionality, do the rear first followed by the front.

If you're in it for the hoes, LT the front, throw on some fiberglass, leave the rear stock, and get regular tests at the clinic.

I did if for the opposite reason, my mid travel pulled too many hoes. Needed to go faster through the dez to get away from them.

Fiberglass totally drops panties! I should have stayed stock and threw on a front clip on...
