Had an off day today and took it upon myself to claybar and wax my truck...

It had been awhile since I have done either and forgot how much I hated it, but there's nothing like rolling it out into the sun after you get done! The things is just stupid clean!!!

Just wanted to share a few pics, although they don't do it justice... Enjoy...

Took less than an hour to clay, it was actually pretty easy! Then probably took about 2 hours to wax... I've had the car for a month and don't know what it had been through before, so it took a little while.

Haha, no way man! I don't want to do that anymore than I have to... But I'm gonna be honest... I can't stop looking at the thing! The paint looks so deep. And my wife joked about how her hand slipped off the door when she was trying to shut it. :)

Looks great. Just finished my truck the day before yesterday. Since it was the very first coat of wax, took the time to cover every area very well. Now glows from top to bottom. Next need to figure out how to do the tires. Purchased stuff for tires, but it's too shiny. Would prefer a more natural, deep flat black, look. Like you said, despite the results, it was a lot of less-than-thrilling work.
