Sand blasting could screw up his already delicate grass he has in texass if he uses too much, plus more expensive than water.

Different sands. You would think when I deploy we have enough sand for a volleyball court. Not the same kind of sand :(. We had to import white sand for our beach court... :anonymous:

Lol. I've had to pressure wash and sand a lot of decks.

PW was always the easiest and quickest method

My deck is pretty much toast. I am going to attempt to revive it one of these weekends but I don't think it will fix it. So I might be building a new deck next spring.

I would give it a try with the pw then, try it on a small area first though.

That doesn't seem expensive at all?

I might take a picture of the deck tomorrow. If I tear the deck down, maybe I can just build a ramp out of my game room to let Saga in and out of the back yard until I get a new one...

We were on a job were the old guy would pw his cedar deck every year and restain it. The boards were so thinned out they would flex when you walked over them

Wish I had pics of it lol.

Every year?!? A little over kill ya think? I have a few loose bolts connecting the deck to the house but its overall still steady. And the whole deck had lattice work until my dog got a hold of it. Now I just put 1x1's all the way around.

Wood into the house is stripped too bad. I can probably drill a few more and add some. I really don't need to replace the posts. Maybe just the decking itself, railing, balusters and the girders. I know the stairs need replaced as well. Oh well.
