    :) this will be interesting...i bought mine used and they where wheeled several time when i got them and they still looked perfect..4hrs after being on my truck and they were shot lol......ATO 1/4in skids next lol

    Build thread in sig... 4-link long travel
    on top of that, material thickness isn't the biggest problem, it's lack of engineering. a flat piece of plate (even with turned up edges) is just asking to be bent. put some thought into it and truss/gusset/etc in the proper areas, and what you already have will be more protective than 1/4''
