Hawaii Slider Group Buy

Did some fitting of the new-style bolt on's today! There were a few minor changes to some measurements in my cutting files, and im about ready to cut out all the plates for those that ordered them.

Man it's too late isn't it. My wife came across this thread and told me to go ahead and do it.

 

Anybody decide how or what & where your gonna paint your sliders with. I.e. lava lining, Line-X, Rhino lining, rattle can, ext.
If we go in together somewhere maybe we can cut a deal there too.
Suggestions, I'm leaning toward a bed style protection because I want it to be very strong.

 

Got my skid plate lined at spray-liner Hawaii for $75. Kinda pricey, but I was planning on having the sliders sprayed there as well.

 

I googled them and couldn't find their company website, do they use a particular brand?
How's your skid plate holding up?

 

hey wanted to let you guys know.... DCSB/ACLB new bolt on's are now finalized as of this afternoon!
They're entirely bolt on, but as anticipated, if you intend to be using them offroad and bashing on rocks then I recommend drilling and installing 2 additional bolts on the bottom of the frame(there are 2 extra holes in the plates for this).
I'll be cutting a ton of the plates tomorrow and dropping them off to be formed, they'll probably be back from the forming shop within a weeks time and in the mean time the rest of the rails will be cut/bent.

Their website seems to be down or the owner may have canceled the domain. At any rate, Sprayliner Hawaii is located on Dillingham near the Blood Bank of Hawaii. I have no idea if the owner uses a particular brand of bedliner, but he does pretty good work. I chose Sprayliner Hawaii because there were mixed reviews on the other companies like Rhino and Lava. My skid plate has held up pretty well, but then again, it doesn't see much action.

you guys should look in to raptor lining. My dad did his truck bed with it and it turned out awesome. its perfect for this type of application, rhino lining is really expensive and lava is rougher as well as that roll on stuff. raptor lining comes out grip but a smoother look. I've got two kits of the stuff i ordered off Amazon I plan on doing my truck bed and possibly my rails. Also have the air tank. If any one wants to get together on a kit it would be way cheaper. 1 kit does a truck bed with alot left so it should do 2-4 sets of sliders no problem.

kit is about 120 and you can also get the tintable kit if you don't want plain black.

 

That sounds like a possibility, I'll check them out.

 

Raptor lining sounds pretty good actually. Looking it up online now.

Eric - Any updates or ETA on delivery?

 

Got everything cut/bent and being assembled right now on all the sets ordered, all frame plates are in the shop for the new bolt on's as well. Looking like I'll be spending an entire day welding them together, and then everyone's will be going out next week.
