60+ year old thread.

Good morning to all. Going to finish the summer detail on the Tacoma today. I have the family car to do next week.

 

morning all: 8" of rain in parts of maine, hope someones wood didn't wash away.
maby someone down river can just go out and collect it!

 

Need a brake,, Helped a pal for 6 mo. fight for his life. 6AM Mon got a call a long time pal ( Not the same man) went down to Lk. Okeechobee for some fishing, Sit down on the bank and put a gun to his head.

 

I'm sorry to hear this man - stay strong.

Thanks All, No Sue was not Chet. His name was Tom if you can do a RIP for me,, He was 69 and his Mom is alive in Ohio And she is taking him home. Ex Navy 6 with everything going good. Who knows what is in someones head. Jim

 

I am so sorry to hear about your loss, Jim. Suicide is one of the most difficult to understand and accept. Tom is in my thoughts and prayers.

 

I believe that if most people that commit suicide could see all the caring people in their lives at the funeral there would be a lot less suicides.

RIP Tom. Prayers for you, Jim, his family and friends that they may be able to make peace with why he did what he did.

 

I dont usually post this early, but I got to work, started my computer, got ready to enter some daily paperwork, checked todays date. June 6th. Us post WWII baby boomers remember this date as well as Dec. 7. June 6th, 1944. All those men who stormed those beaches so long ago and all of the men and women who supported them.

evening all: just put 2 new tires on the "66", 2 more on the way.
plenty of tread on the old ones, but they were dryrotting.
NEVER had that problem years ago. seems the tires last longer nowdays.
I was always buying tires for the car, especially the rear !
