IPOD INTERGRATION KIT FOR FACTORY JBL STEREO?

What ipod intergration kit do you recommend for my '08 Double Cab with the JBL factory stereo?

Will the factory kit - part # PT54500082 - work?

The guy at the stereo shop tried to sell me a whole new stereo because he gave me some bullshit story about the only kit available is the fm transmitter type.

I don't care for those fm transmitter kits.

I appreciate any advise.

 

Isimple worked for me got it on eBay for $50

 

what's the model number on the isimple?

 

I'm using the SPEC-USA unit with my '08 JBL stereo and it works great.

I had most of the parts, I only needed the aux jack, picked up a few at Radio Shack for under $5.

I've had no issues and it took me less than an hour.

 

I have one i took out of my truck. I'll sell it $40 shipped... No instructions though.
