Da fuq would you torque with that thing? The one we got is for box trucks and me jumping on it won't make it click....

 

Anyone going to the races this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway? I got some free tickets today and I am pretty excited about.

did they ever build a road coarse for F1

 

It's the Firestone 550 Saturday night but it's a rally race at 3:30 that afternoon. Ken Block and Travis Pastrana are some of the bigger names racing.

I think they got the F1 track in Austin done but it sounds like an expensive cluster. $179 just to get in plus the cost for a seat. Parking will be a nightmare and there are no hotel rooms available.

Damn, that gun I posted up shook a little. Normally I just tap the gun to get the socket off with my hand. But that had waaayyyy too much torque to hold on to once it got spinning

Hopefully putting a new strut on my buddy's car tonight. He's a dochecanoe and was texting and driving, hit a curb, blew out one tire, fucked up both rims on the right side and bent his strut.

unsolicited advice time: Don't go to the Corps for intelligence. That's just a different community and to go through the hell it takes to become a Marine, and then do the mickey mouse bullshit to sit on a computer or analyze topo maps, or intercepts.

If you want to fly jets: Marines or Navy
If you want medical: Navy or Air Force
If you want firefighting: Navy or AF
If you want intelligence: AF

Be part of a massive military environment that forgets its military: Army
Be a bad motherfucker doing stupid pointless shit at the top of your lungs and never know why you are doing it, but motherfucker you are doing it hard, fast, deadly, and you cant stop barking at people and you suddenly hate anything thats not wearing an eagle globe and anchor and the pussy is just free no matter where you go which is good because you cant stop doing push ups and screaming while she wants to fuck but dammit those push ups were hard-fucking-core bark bark bark bark.........

This is just me talking outloud.

But.

I like the Marines because of the badassness and comradery involved. I mean, it doesn't get much more Badass then a marine. And having to go through all that shit to get there is a plus.

Navy, I'm really looking into medical/firefighting/LEO as a career for later. And the Navy has a damn good medical field. Plus I was thinking I could be a doc for the Marines. Or flying. I love me some whirlybirds and jets

AF, technically is pretty sound. But I doubt I'll be able to fly. So I'd be in tech.

Army, No. No offense to anyone, but the only people I know personally who are enlisted in the army are idiots. And I'm not an idiot.

National guard. I just see as a temp spot for a little extra cash flow in college and some military experience.

Coasties, maybe.

 

As a Marine, i prefer you join us, lol....but if you go Navy and you go "green-side" and become a Corpsman for Marines, thats almost as good. We really take care of our Docs.

If you want LEO, they have an awesome MP MOS as well. I did prisoner transports and UA/AWOL recovery for awhile. THATS some fun shit. Research 5811 or just the 5800 MOS field, some good fields there.

 

I understand. I would like to be a Corpsman. I'm going to start taking more specialized classes next year. And figure out before I sign up of its definitely for me.

I also looked the MP MOS field. I can pretty much get into any field I want, at least that I'm qualified for. Apparently my ASVAB was impressive.

The Navy recruiter I talked kept pushing nuclear engineering

 

Lucky! Not as cool, but we might be headed to the Dallas Raceway dragstrip in Crandall. Boss has a car running this weekend.

 

I kinda want to double major in geology/fire sciences. Or geology/ some medical stuff
