The form is really nice. I like the shape. Just poor attention to detail. I told Sammy to call you before he painted them. He rushed Chris' and didnt mock them up good either. So he said he will re-do a new set for Chris. But the glass Chris has doesnt even match each other.

Not gonna use Fiberwerx for my bedsides. I like McNiel's better.

Well, went there and refit checked. Ehh, they are ok, not much choice without goint to a much bigger fender. The one I fit was definately better than the one that got mixed up. I will do some tweaking after paint and make them work. Little gaps around headlghts are typical but im going to add a little glass to the back side for support and run a tiny little bead of white silicone and it will be good. The height mismatch on the hood can be shimmed.
All in all they are far from perfect, certainly not as good as I have seen on others but not as bad either...eff it, I'm gonna run em, main thing is that they clear the rubber and they do that

Seems like what I'm seeing is alot of these shops that do glass fenders can't get fenders that fit worth a shit.. whats going on with that ??

    Bad molds ? or ??..:notsure:

Some guys get some that are perfect & peeps go to the same place & they end up with horrible results

Definitely some inconsistencies, we knew going in that these were not the best brand but the only brand that had the smaller size we wanted. We are not LT and do not intend to be so these were the right size. They actually look bigger than advertised though. I wanted to stay as narrow as possible and still clear the tires. Looks like Pinion mtn rd is probably out it the question now

I've seen quite a bit of glass that looks pretty bad the way it lines up. More often than not I also hear that the owner installed the glass.

No matter the brand of glass I've seen mostly acceptable results when installed by someone that has experience and knows what they are doing.

Prior to sanding down my glass, the shop test fitted it for me and I remember thinking man this looks like crap. Well after a day of sanding and doing what they do all the lines on my match 90% which I am more than happy with.

I spent a day getting mine dialed in and am pretty happy with it. The issue with these is the area up near the windshield is low, like 1" below the hood where it goes flat, can't do anything about it. Chris is taking his back to trailer products to see if they can add glass in that area
