After initial inspection of the hood (only dry part of the truck right now), I think we're good.

Oh, I know  but I like rocks and dirt. And it seems like a pretty interesting field.

The thing is, I'd like to know what I'm doing. If some emergency happens, I want to be able to throw my paramedic skills into good use. But geology has always interested me since I was a kid and I'd enjoy learning about it more.

For the future, the best way to learn a bunch of different beers, and what styles you like, is to go to places that allow you to "make your own 6 pack". Then you can buy one each of 6 different styles of beer. Do that 5-10 times over a couple of months and you will find out what styles (lagers, wheats, IPAs, APAs, pilseners, stouts, porters, ambers, abbeys, browns, etc) that fit your tastes, and then eventually which companies make your favorite of those types.

I've found that my tates have changed over the years. I used to like wheats and dark beers, and now I'm more into the medium bodied and the crisp, lighter varieties.

I read a few pages back....

    1) Screw the liberal douche bags at Google.

    2) USMC Infantry. Best four years of my life; period.

    3) Marines is spelled with a capital "M" fyi; thanks for fixing yourself.

    4) Keith- what did you think of the Steam Beer? Where do you find it?

Overall today wasn't bad; really looking forward to my vacation.

I love it. It's made in San Francisco but I've found it at specialty beer shops around here. Specs, central market, and whole foods will have it too.

Just busting your balls; just don't do it again. ;)

Cool. I joined a home brew club last month and a steam beer is on the list of beers to brew this year. I'm hoping to have all the parts/pieces to start brewing later this Fall.

I'm not sure what about steam beer makes it so difficult, but Anchor Brewing is among the only breweries in the world that makes one. :notsure:

It's an interesting flavor. An ale-like body and color, but very little hop bite.

    Noted

In our attempt to change a strut on a 2012 Nissan Versa, we found that shit doesn't work like it should. And ratchet straps don't work as a spring compressor. Who knew? :notsure: I left and they still hadn't gotten it off yet.

I have witnessed ratchet straps work as spring compressors. Not that it was a good idea, but it did work.

Apparently not on a Versa…

It wasn't a good idea at all, but he wanted it done tonight. His old strut was pretty bent to where his spare tire was rubbing when he turned, and it wasn't even on full lock.

So why were you working on a 2012 versa? Warranty?

It wasn't covered apparently. That's what I told him he should have done was try and see if it was under warranty. It probably wasn't covered because he did the damage himself.
