Autozone, Diehard... couple of the better rated ones. Autozone runs alittle cheaper

My preference is Interstate. From the responses, it is evident that batteries are a personal preference item.

I normally go with a Sears battery. (Get the best).
Reason: They are normally open and there's a Sears in almost any town if you need a replacement.

I once had a Interstate battery that was good one day and the next dead! (Normal life). The dealer that I bought it at was closed till Monday! And no other store sold Interstate at the time. So I learned to buy from a store that is open 7 days a week. (Batteries die here well under their warranty times, heat.)

It's not new, it's not Mexico
All batteries are made by the same three companies, so get the least expensive battery that fits your truck, with the longest free replacement warranty from a store that's convenient for you.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I also factor in the CCA rating too.

    Tips on buying replacement battery:

    1. APPLICATION (which dictates the battery type).
    2. CCA PERFORMANCE (based on climate) and RESERVE CAPACITY (more is better) REQUIREMENTS.
    3. VOLTAGE, PHYSICAL SIZE and TERMINAL PLACEMENT (designated by BCI Group Size Number).
    4. FRESHNESS (newer is better due to sulfation).
    5. FREE REPLACEMENT WARRANTY (longer is better).
    6. CHARGING SYSTEM (matching is better to prevent under or over charging).

For more detail, please see Section 7 of the Car and Deep Cycle Battery FAQ on www.batteryfaq.org.
