GMs designs look dated so quickly. The 2007+ silverados are already old looking to me.

Ummm, keep in mind that Toyota had the same design for the Tacoma for 6 years...

It was probably a retired police vehicle, sold at auction and not being resold once again.

A 2002 Chevy Tahoe with that kind of miles without the history of being a police vehicle would sell for more than that, probably between 5,000 to 7,000.

I know. I was saying that the design of the 2007+ Silverado looks dated to me. I know it's due for a refresh but an 05 Taco vs a 2012 Silverado, I'd pick the appearance of the taco hands down. I just find GM styling plain.

    absolutely right.

police package is basically vinyl floors and a very basic interior, while keeping all of the power options, also they usually have the largest engine offering at the time, as well as a heavy duty alternator and tow package. they usually come with strobe lighting as well (but cannot be legally used)

Aux cooling fans too as well as some beefier engine components. The crown vic sounds like a jet taking off once you've worked her for a little bit. :D
