No, I've never done anything to account for this. Maybe I am getting better? All I know is my average is like 250-260 a tank, which would not be accurate either I guess. If I got an ultra gauge I would get all crazy about the prices and how much im spending on gas. I know I need it no matter what, I dont even look at the price anymore

You have never accounted for your bigger tires??? do you realize that you are going faster than your spedo says? I dont know the exact difference but im like 10-11% off running 35s. And my ultagauge is so helpful and its basically paid for itself with the gas savings.

The way I see it...my whole idea of caring what kind of mpg's I'm getting went completely out the door when I bought a truck. My last car got 32 highway, and I was constantly worried about it HAVING to get 32mpg...now it's like "oops gas light is on...better go fill up".

On my 07 with 6 speed and 35s I was getting around 16 average, and 18 on the highway with stock gears. On occasion I'd get up to 21, but most of the time it was in the 18hwy range.
That is watching a scangauge quite often though to keep an eye on my fuel consumption.

If interested in comparing gear ratios and tire sizes, look up grim jeeper gear calculator online.
