Recieved #241 in the mail this afternoon and had it installed in 5 minutes or less. Took the first drive with it and can't see myself without it. 6' even and it's a marked improvement.

At this point the praise is nothing new, but I'll echo the same thoughts as everyone else as I feel it's deserved. Packaging was very professional, Allen wrench of the needed size was included, and two days from PM to receipt.

I threw away the stock pieces as I don't ever see myself going back to the way it was before, and if I ever trade the truck in, the next driver deserves a decent view as well.

    Thanks for a wonderful item!

My truck is a 2012 tacoma trd sport doublecab. I love everything about this truck! The thing that I didn't like was the visibility to the right side of the windshield. This bracket looks great, is easy to install (took me 5 mins) and increases visibility a lot! Thank you IMMRYO! My advise to anyone else buying this bracket is to follow the instructions and don't force anything. If it's not going together easily you probably just need to pull the headliner open a little more. Thanx again and good luck everyone!

I agree with everything you said. I installed mine in 5 mins, never swore once. LOL This bracket works great, I can actually see the top of my tailgate and tonneau now. Plus the rearview visibility has increased substantially. Sweet!

Another simple and inexpensive mod, pure genius in simplicity. Just follow the directions (something a lot of guys like me seem to have trouble with) and DON'T use force.

    #C7 Thanks IMMRYO!

Anyone have pics of a 2012 mirror done? Im thinking about doing this, but it might be in the way of the sunglass holder....

Lol.. I will most likely do it someday. Bc im 6'3" and its irritating having the mirror in my line of sight...
But also while im looking at these photos, it seems like the mirror is almost touching the head liner.. I really dont want my mirror that high... But maybe its not as bad as the pictures seem?

It really isn't bad at all, quite the opposite, I think its the very best solution and executed beautifully, perfect fit.

    I fully agree.

I just did my 2012 DCSB Sport today. I'm only 5'10" and I needed this. Its not in the way of the sunglass holder, although, when the holder is open it is blocking the mirror. The bracket does not position the mirror "too" high in my opinion. After all, its a mirror you can just angle it down a little more. Here are some pics

I'm 6'1" and there is absolutely no issue being in the way of the sunglass holder. I am delighted with this mod. So simple, so easy to install, inexpensive and very well made. Perfect in my books.
