thats a good deal. For the same truck I paid $29,900 + TTL after negotiating the price down and then a $500 rebate. This was 400 under invoice, it took some serious effort at closing time on the last day of May.

Thanks guys. I'm getting them to throw a bed extender in it for 250. It's normally a 300 dollar option or it's 300 to buy and then they would charge install. Pretty excited. 9am tomorrow I'll have my first truck and first new car!

Here's the story I'm getting. This is an Port accessory that is installed by SE Distributors. It is Toyota leather and is considered OEM for Toyota and warranty purposes. Also, it does not impact any of the airbag functions.

Hey, I just got a 2012 TRD Sport Long bed with a towing package for 35 OTD including taxes and all the fees.

Is this a fairly fair price for a brand new ride??

    THanks

it obviously depends on the exact situation.

1- If you don't trade in you get 0 tax credit. in PA you pay almost $2,000 on a $32,000 truck in sales tax alone.

2- New plates and documentation fees vary by state

3- Was there any rebates at the time of purchase

    4- Automatic or stick shift?

5- Access Cab or Double cab

    6- down payment etc

Being in the business for a few years, I highly doubt you walked into a Toyota dealer, bought a $31-32K truck and walked out the door for $28,500 including tax tags etc etc. There is roughly $2,000 in dealer markup plus $635 in holdback from Toyota.

Well its a TRD sport package, double cab, long bed, 4x4, with the upgraded extended 100K warrantee.

    MSRP was 31.

    And no trade in.

UT sales tax is redic at like 7%

Anything else you would like to know??

Just picked up my black DC TRD/OR 4x4 with stock stereo, tow, drl, predator steps, premium carpet and ball mount for 30,901 in Houston, TX + LA TTL. (dealerships in LA wanted 32,1xx for same thing. worth the 2 hr drive to save a bit)

Just picked up my new 2012 SW SR5 PreRunner V6 AccessCab. Sticker was $27,533, and got em down to $24,500. According to TrueCar, it was about $500 above dealer cost.

Also got lucky with my trade in since I dropped in on a whim and the salesman wanted to work the #'s right there even though I told him I'd be back later that afternoon(I wasn't driving at the time). Told him the year, make, model, and miles and that it had some issues. I'm thinking he's new and was desperate for his first sale since he didn't even bother asking what was wrong with the car, nor did he ask for my DL and insurance before taking me on the test drive. Long story short, I took his first offer of a grand over what I found as the rough condition Manheim # on my car.

Anyways, enough with the details, and here are a couple of pics!
