I would atleast grind it clean and smooth just in case the tire grabs it, it wont shread the tire, but i did mine my self with a angle grinder and cutting disk and i havent had any problems yet and i havent plated it yet

Grind her smooth and plate it. Just another spot to get water in and rust. Plus it would look cleaner.

Are you saying you cut the bottom section too much? So if you match the top to the bottom its going to run into the bolts for the bushing?

Except there is a giant hole right there, for the body mount. Not plating it would make it easier to clean, i.e. putting the power washer in the body mount hole is a pain in the ass.

When I need to chop it, I am going make it smooth and leave it open.

Yeah the Kings have the option to add cans but thats because King uses their own specific can. DSM doesnt have the generic ones I need, not on their page at least

Tim is DMZ, Mike is Defined

Will (FixedTRD) is running the DMZ kit with shock hoops without cutting into the bed.

Mike (Defined) and few people are running shock hoops with a cross-brace (Mike/Defined sells this) only two simple cuts in the bed are required.
