So I'm looking to get some new leaf springs and I can't decide between the OME Dakars and the all pro's standards. Can anyone help me make up my mind?

Dakars handel weight very well and also ride very well. The all pro from what i understand rides well and flexes better than the dakars because its designed to be a lighter duty spring. Im happy with my dakars they still flex great and ride well after 3 years now. Running them without bumpstops and abusing them.

Awesome thanks for the input. I*still use my truck to carry things every once in a while so the Dakars might be a good way to go.

Since people were asking about my lights set up that I just did here's a small write up on what I did without making a separate thread

    Relocated the horns:

Here's where I drilled and mounted the lights. The hood prop just barely fits behind the bolts and stays put
    [IMG]

Bent the hardline just slightly out of the way
    [IMG]

Trimmed the hood latch release cause it was hitting the mesh
    [IMG]

    Mesh mounting points
    [IMG]

    bent that lil part up
    [IMG]

    Special Offer!
I have most of the parts to create another setup. When I did mine I got a grill from someone else to work on so I didn't have to pull the grill off my truck until the swap was ready. I also have the same lights UNUSED.

    So the offer is:
--Lights (unused and wiring harness included)
    http://www.automatcentral.com/7-inch-offroad-lamps
--Grill (kinda dirty and has plasti-derp on it but can be cleaned up and painted or whatever)
    --Mesh
--Extra grill clips (I bought a set of 7 from Toyota and only used 1)

All you would need is paint, zip ties, mounts for the mesh, epoxy, sawzall, sand paper.

I think $70 (plus shipping) is reasonable.

Installed OME 881 coilovers, Wheeler's 5-pack rears. New bolts, washers, bushings, kept original shackles. Good times! Gonna need some tires and alignment soon!
