Depending on what trails your hitting, I may join you..I have run gold several times, and know I can handle that with no problems. I am not sure how well I will do on John Bull though (LSD, no locker), I dont want to have to hold everyone up winching myself through.

Looking for another Taco. Can't stay away.
I did John Bull when I had my jeep. Had 33" tires and almost high-centered a few times. Had to pivot off my rock sliders more than once. We had one jeep in the group with open diffs and he had to self winch up a few spots, namely the gate keeper hill. Conditions were wet and slippery though, so that didn't help much. Was a fun day.

I need armor before I take my taco up that trail. Hope you have luck finding a run. If anything, check over on pirate 4x4 and see about putting together a multi platform run. I know a few guys there will run JB at the drop of a hat.

It could be they're embarrassed they're driving phoney fenders and not a real Jeep with flat fenders. (I've earned the right to say that, I've owned a 43)
:broccoli: <<green like my old olive drab Jeep.

Where are these trails at in BB? Are they over there near Crab Flats and Deep Creek? Or are they more over near Faunskin and that Northern area of BB?

I would steer clear of John Bull unless you are pretty well armored and have hi-clearance rear. 1 locker minimum is a huge plus and expect some damage if you are not armored well. Damn good trail though, the tacos are a touch long in spots but manageable.

In for any of those runs, done them many times and have no problems in myrig, so I shouldn’t hold anyone up (famous last words haha)

I just came back from there. Here's a few pics of the east end of Holcomb Creek

Also a couple from the west end of John Bull.

I finally got my truck out to do some wheelin. I only did these two sections because my buddy wouldn't attempt them in his ranger 4x4 and I didn't want to abandon him. I would love to go again but with the wife and twins well see? Mind you I've only got 32's and 2.5" lift but it did very well although not without some scars. What's left of my trailer connector

The AP sliders did their job

I have a short video of that HC section I'll try to add later but sounds like fun -- I will say these trails are tougher than they were a few years ago and I only did a small part of them but again I would love to do the rest especially with a bunch of fellow Tacomas. I got some complements because a few Jeeps struggled through that HC section. Cheers
