Eh, I decided to post up some pictures of my 67 Firebird.
Currently this is how it looks and sits with exception of those ugly ass rims and tires. I have since replaced them with chrome Cragar s/s rims. I am running 255/60R-15 in back and 235/60R-15 up front.

Here is my 998s, i bought this bike sight unseen while I was in Iraq. The seller was kind enough to take it to the local Ducati shop who did an inspection and acted as the go between for no charge.

Here is my quad up in washington, I don't ever get to ride it but I love it. Its a Raptor 700R:

My 97 Kawasaki KDX 220SR japanese spec. I brought it back from Japan with me, has never been rebuilt and has 27,000 km on a two stroke. FUCK YEA. The thing won't die, unfortunately I also never get to ride it.

Here is my 2010 Hypermotard S, I loved this bike but traded it for the 999S. It was tons of fun around town but super uncomfortable to ride and I never quite felt comfortable on it.

And here are some race photos of when I used to Road race motorcycles in Japan. This was waiting for my qualifying run for the Motegi 7 hour endurance race at Motegi twin rings. I have also been on Suzuka, Fuji, Tsukuba, Ebisu, Sendai, Autopolis, and a few others around Japan.

Tribute to my best friend, he was killed 6 may by 2 pit bulls. Here is my post I put up.

Well, I am sitting here bawling like a school girl. My Chocolate lab is dead. I am stuck in Taiwan and I get a call that my neighbors got 2 pitbulls, they got into my yard and attacked my dog while my room mate was out. He actually killed one of the pitbulls but they tore him up good.

Bites over 90% of his body. Neck partially crushed, left rear leg crushed, stomach opened so his guts are showing. The police and my roomate rushed him to the vet. I cant afford 10K plus for the surguries and care it would have taken plus there is no garentee he would have made it. If he had he would not have been the same dog.

The worst part is that I got him while I lived in Japan, moved to Korea with him, then washington, california, hawaii, and back to washington. He has been with me as I went to war 3 times, twice to Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan. He has been there every time I came home from my travels for work. As other people have come and gone he has always been there no matter. All he ever wanted to do was be with me.

He was the best natural hunting down that most people had ever seen. He was never gun shy, never barked, never broke from the blind/my side early or without command. There was never a duck, goose, pheasant, and any winged thing he didnt find. His favorite thing was to go hunting and fetch golf balls. If we couldnt hunt we would go to the local ball field and I would pound balls 100 yards down range and he would bring them back and set up for the next one.

When he was a puppy he used to go to the race track with me when I raced motorcycles in Japan. He was our team mascot and would wander the pits around us, everyone loved him. In Hawaii I would put a back pack on him and he would chase after me on my dirt bike.

He protected my house 6 months ago when someone broke in by laying teeth into an intruder. He knew his job was to protect the house when I was not there. My job was to protect him and I failed miserably.

I am having him cremated and keeping his collar. I will put some of his ashes in his favorite hunt site and first place he put his mouth on real feathers. I love him and will miss him so much.
Here are some pictures of him over the years.

Thanks for the words about my dog. He was my best friend.

As for the truck, I appreciate it. I have a little bit of work to do on it, but as you see I have a lot of things to work on as well.

I need to work on the firebird too, I have a full suspension and steering rebuild to do on the thing.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. He was my boy. I have been over in Taiwan working so I really haven't had time to get to upset. I know once I go to lay his ashes in my friends pond I will bawl like a school girl.

As for the truck, its a work in progress. I am hoping to have it pretty much all done by the end of this year. I have some minor stuff listed on the first post but I need to cut the fenders and flares, regear and lockers, and then stuff 35's on it and I should be pretty much done.

I know this is a little off topic, but how do you like your hypermotard?

The hyper was a blast around town. If your going to do a lot of in town type riding, it was a blast and I was going to lose my license on it because I wanted to be a hooligan wheeling and doing stoppies and jumping curbs with it. For longer rides, they thing was the most uncomfortable bike I had ridden. Imagine doing a 5 hour ride on a dirt bike. I also couldn't get comfortable riding it. Do I ride is like a street bike, like a dirt bike, etc. Mine had the Ducati performance race ECU, ducati performance race cams, and ducati performance race exhaust, as well as extended range gas tank, DP comfort seat, light weight fly wheel, and a few other goodies.

It was a good bike, but I am more of a sport bike guy so I did a straight up trade for the Ducati 999s. I like that bike much more. The guy I traded the hyper to loves the hyper much more, so it was a good trade.

OK, So I finally decided I am going to go with a pusher fan set up on the radiator stack (radiator, AC Condensor, Intercooler). We will see if that helps any while offloading in the AZ desert. Its a 12" flex-a-lite fan capable of moving 1000+ cfm.

While I have the front apart I will also clean the radiators, re-locate the intercooler pump, and install my winch.

I also decided to drop some coil on a URD fuel pump upgrade:

    and

a Doug Thorley "pipe bomb" y-pipe. A lot of people have said it causes rapines but everything I read on here and and the FJ forums seem to more associated with the LT headers, not the pipe bomb. Its half the price of the URD unit and consider how much I off road and the fact it will probably get damaged I can't justify the price of the URD one.

So I definitely have my work cut out for me when I get home. I also have a ton of work to do on my firebird so....

I used to be military, now I am a weapons engineer. So I get to blow stuff up for a living. I support the US and foreign militaries.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. The thing is turning pretty damn beastly if I do say so myself. I have a ton of goodies just sitting at home waiting for when I get back. I have a couple days of mods to do, pics and write ups when I do them.
