did you have any issues when installing the bestop on the fiberglass besides, or did it just mount up like on the stock ones?

Thanks, the bestop mounts just like the stock one but better in a way.
The stock one the back metal piece for the rear window sits on the truck lid.
with the fiberglass fender somehow it sits lower just a tad bit and I was able to push it back more and now its sit secure behind the truck lid.

I really love my rear setup, Tim at DMZ did a awesome job to my request.
I also didn't want to cut into the bed and told Tim what I wanted and he did his work on it. I haven't had any issue with bottoming out hard. I haven't even tune any setting since I got the rear setup. It rides really good in the dirt so I figure i'll just let it be until I can really get a good day out in the Dez to tune it.

I'm sub'd, I love everything you have ever done to your truck and it is inspiration for what I want to do with mine.

I was wondering before but since seeing this pic, the bumper is made by KR? What all did DMZ actually do to your rear set up (SUA, Fenders, boxed frame, etc)? I want to do LT in the rear sometime but don't want to cut into the bed as well. Also what brand front fender did you go with?

I don't have any problem with rubbing since I am running rear spacers and the frame is notched.

Thx Paden maybe you should plan a trip down here so we can all go for a run,
or ill plan a visit sometime next yr :D.

For sure Eddie, when are you coming back and aren't you redoing your sick as truck . I haven't been out since the Mojave run in May.

Scotty thanks for the compliment that means alot. Alot of hard earn cash had gone into this build :), Just make sure you plan your build first before buying stuff you don't need and switching later.

Kenny at KR made my front bumper to how I had requested for, he's an awesome dude that does fantastic work for a really reasonable price.
Tim at DMZ did the whole rear setup, (DMZ SUA kit, the shock hoop, bumps, fender install, all the little nick nacks etc basically the whole rear setup was done by DMZ.) no box frame yet I was already over what I wanted to spend. Tim gave me a really good price on all the installs and his kit but the thing that killed me was all the parts had to be brought new since no one was selling any used parts that I needed and I was next to go into the shop. Also I have glasswork fenders front and rear.

So figure out what you need and start looking for used parts if you want to save some cash.

When you say plan everything out so I don't get stuff I dont need and have to replace, How much of a front spindle lift and rear leaf pack and shocks would be able to be kept going to something like you have? I think pretty much everything wouldn't transfer over, but maybe the spindles. Would beefy spindles such as TC, Maxtrac, or Camburg work with a LT? Or are there even LT spindles out there or just gusseted stock ones the only way to go?

Thanks for any information to help aid in future money/work saved.

I love your rear set up!! I want to do a good mid travel set-up and want a little more travel in the rear without cutting up the bed, so I think I may do something like your shock hoop setup:thumbsup:

I've only switched out the fronts twice not the rear :) can you show me how to grow a successful money tree :D.

You will able to keep your spindles and bumps. Yes you can buy camburg spindle for their LT kit. I am not sure if you can mix and match LT kits with different LT spindles.

Thanks man, doing the rear setup really made a difference helps alot.
