Is that comparing with the stock rugged trail 265/65/17?

Stock Dunlopcraps, 265/65r17, yes. Getting 18.5 to 19.5 average with the 275/70r17's. Really like these Silent Armors, thought that maybe I should get a more agressive tire but I'm on the road like 99% of the time and these do really well off road so far.

Thanks I am bouncing between the 275/70/17 and the 255/75/17, as this is my DD gas mileage does affect my decision.

I take it thats' off-loading included? Looking at that exact size for my 2011 TRD Sport with a possible 2.5" lift in front and 1.5" in rear. Hoping to only do 1.75" in front with nothing in the rear to level out. With big bumps and shocks compressed to max or near max, no rubbing?

Thanks OZ-T your input is always appreciated. I have on order OME 885's (no spacer), Dakar Leaf Pack, Light Racing UCA's and most likely 255/75/17 Silent Armors

275/70/17 is what I run. Using the BFG TA KOs. Love em. No rubbing at all.

Tried to search and search but it´s still not clear to me, yes, I´m a bit dumb :)
Most of the posts I read says that the largest tire on 2 gen and stock suspension is 265/70/17, but after reading this thread no one had issues on rubbing with 275/70/17, is that right? Thanks in advance

I rubbed the UCAs with 275s

Go with the 34/10.5/17s. They are taller but narrower. 255s are pretty thin

Tacoma.jpg I am running the LT275/70R17 Goodyear MTR's on my 2011 Double Cab long box. Next tire will be a 34/10.5R17 for a bit more height while still staying narrow. With the 275's and 3 degrees of caster I can still use the mud flaps.

I have the full OME suspension with 885 springs in the front with the top spacer and Dakar's in the rear. With the 275/70R17 MTR's and caster at 3 degrees I was able to keep the front mud flaps.

Not sure how much lift 884 coils give but you could always add a top spacer if you needed more lift. The 885 coils give a firm ride. The MTR's are quiet on the highway for a mud tire.
