    Hey watch it!!!!

Ok, I'm torn now cause I have a MacBook Pro

Boy I just realized how messed up I am. I have Blackberry for work, a flip phone for personal use, a PC at the office and a Macbook at home. To top it off, I use my Macbook and LogMeIn to access my office PC when at home. Wow, I feel like a split personality.

Don't know if anyone is looking but we're hiring a Service Dispatcher. It's a salaried position. Office is in West Caldwell (right off 46). Here is the link:
    http://newjersey.craigslist.org/tch/3061318413.html

I think we're also still looking for a service contract salesperson. That's mostly commission but I've seen some people make good money with it. Unfortunately our last guy spent all day on Facebook and only sold 1-2 contracts per month.

    PM me if interested.

    'Rear' fluid = 15 minutes
    Transfer case = 10 minutes
Front diff = [IMG] POS 10mm allen head can EAD...think I need to tack weld the socket into it. Last time it came off just fine and I torqued it tot he correct specks. Now it won't budge. Should of started PB'ing it a couple days ago I guess. Maybe tomorrow it will loosen.

My rear oil looked like poop. Definitely going to start doing that every 20k from now on. Transfer case looked new, but I'm running Mobil-1 in that and conventional in the rear.

That just happens to me 2 weeks ago. The rear diff was faster then an oil change. Then I moved to the front I bought a new 10mm Allen socket from Auto Zone and it wouldn't budge. I PB blasted it and let it sit over night I tought I would try a breaker bar and rounded the shit out of it. Hore Toyota replaced it for $45.00. Welding a socket to it did cross my mind. They ended up grinding a slot and using a pry bar.:frusty:

It's a common problem and I didn't think of it myself - just what I have seen others do. I most likely will get my buddy to do it for me so I never have nay issues ever again.

It makes no sense that Toyota made the rear and transfer case 24mm sockets that only get 27-36 ft-lbs but the 47 ft-lbs front diff gets measily 10mm allen heads :smack: the least they could of done is gone to a larger head or torx

I had was in Vineland a week before and picked up a plug because I was worried about stripping it from the begining.

My brother inlaw is a welder and I have seen him tac weld shit like that before. I was going to do it just to remove the old plug but that is a good Idea to weld it and leave it.

yep, mine was a pita too. almost rounded it completely but with a week of pb blaster and hitting it with a hammer and a torch, then using a hammer and chisel to spin the bolt, i managed to salvage it. i also picked up a spare drain plug for front diff, t case, and rear diff, unfortunately none of the other bolts will fit the front diff (i was hoping id get lucky and find an easy solution to the 10mm fucker.)

toyota techs typically weld a nut to it, but they said to try a hardware store for a bolt with the same threads

So tomorrow morning I'm installing my TC UCAs I know Boyd and Anthony are running them, the question I have is all the other UCAs I have replaced in the past have crown nuts with cotter pins on the spindle. I notice the uniball has a regular nut. Do I just crank the that nut down and we are good to go?

Thanks Anthony. Come to think of it I am not sure if I saw instructions in the box I will have to double check that. I have already put together the bushing and installed the grease fittings now I need to get them on the truck.:D

On another note I don't think I will be buying anything from All Pro anytime soon.

So has there actually been a determination on what the ft-lb rating is on the U-bolts for the rear leafs? Want to check the torque on mine.
