    Good point. I haven't done a full remodel to the house yet, so it isn't quite as good as some other houses in my neighborhood. But, it is still one of the nicer since I did redo the kitchen and bathroom and hardwood floors. I should have shopped around a lot more, and maybe gone smaller that what I did.

    Glad I could help out. I have seen similar replacements on houses in the past, and just had to look for it so someone else could put my thoughts into video :). I think if you sand it down real well after it dries and then paint it, shouldn't be too noticeable.

    I have a few hairline scratches from her when she first started coming inside. But she is a lot better now. The entry way on the other hand... If and when I sell the house, I might sand and refinish it. But now that my roommate moved out she will be downstairs on the carpet.

    I went with the darker bamboo. I got a hell of a deal on it to begin with, so thats the reason for the darker color.

    That is the type I got. And bamboo is one of the hardest types of flooring so they are much more resilient.
