Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
...or it will gush out. When I checked the 22re in my garage, it blew the coolant clear to the roof of the garage. That was with 4 leaking cylinders though.

Put on new rear shocks (Icon 2" without the resi) and finally put the bump stops back on after modifying them to fit after the axle relocation. And replaced the U-bolts since I had torqued the other ones twice already (and messed up the threads on one when I did the relocation ).

Just started it up without the radiator cap on. No bubbles, only ran it for maybe 5 seconds before the fluid in the radiator was ready to overflow, but I assume the bubbles would show up right away.

I'm pretty sure under throttle the fluid will suck back into the radiator..

been a long time since i've messed with a radiator but i think with my old blazer when i replaced the radiator my dad would fill the radiator and have me throttle up while he added more fluid, then capped it.

    :notsure:

That's when you are filling it up after draining to get air out of the system. Throttling it up heats up the engine so the water pump kicks in and works the air out to the radiator. Once full it makes sense to me for the fluid to rise as the engine warms since things expand when they get hot, hence why there is the overflow reservoir to add and pull fluid from as the temp changes.

So I'm pretty confident I don't have a coolant leak, but rather an overheating issue.

Driving up to Rausch this weekend I couldn't turn my AC on while on the highway without the temp rising. At Rausch the truck got pretty warm on Saturday but not bad and cooled off once back to a green. Today though I had to pretty much run with the hot air full on all morning and still needed to stop a couple times to let it cool down.

Then on the drive home it wasn't good. Had the heat going the entire time, after a long uphill stretch I had to stop and let it cool, kept it at 60 and below but even then even a slight uphill would cause the needle to rise.

I'm going to try and hose down the radiator and see if I get a lot of gunk out of it, maybe it's just full of mud and shit so it's not working as efficiently as it should. I think the reason the coolant was low was because it was boiling over which I saw evidence of happening this weekend. I'll have to check in the morning when it's nice and cool to see how much fluid I lost.

I think cleaning the radiator may have done it. :)
Drove in today with the AC going full blast the whole time, was able to do 70-75 sustained for 7 minutes during my 30 minute commute. Temp gauge never budged from normal. It was only 68 out this morning, but the way it was yesterday I think it definitely would have gotten hot from that drive. I'll be keeping an eye on it and keeping my fingers crossed.
