Can anyone point me in the direction of a USB hub that can charge 2 iPhones?I've tried 4 different brands and types of hub but none have been able to charge even one phone.

Any that have had an indicator light have all told me that there is power getting to the hub, but then I go to plug in the phone and nothing happens.

i'm assuming all the hubs you tried were getting their juice from the outlet (and not the pc's usb), right?

I've tried both kinds. Some with an external power adapter and without.

Nothing really. Any LED that any have had lit up, but after I plug in the phones...nada.

I should have mentioned earlier (I'm retarded for thinking this wouldn't matter) but I'm trying to plug into an inverter in the truck. I don't have the info on the inverter on me right now though.

sounds like the phone is having some issues. What kind of phone is it? Has it ever charged off of a direct USB connection?

The phone and cable are fine, when I plug it into the inverter directly, it'll charge. But both the girlfriend and I have iPhones and I want two plugs.

You won't find anyone to disagree either. Especially my girlfriend. I think she has an idiot fetish.

Yup. You think it's the hub or the inverter that's the issue?

You sure? I can put on a dunce cap and break out the camera when she gets home...

is it one of those inverters that has the usb plug on it?

I would try a different hub, the one you have might not work under certain circumstances. I've got a small hub that doesn't need to be plugged into anything except the wall power outlet and it provides power to the plugs.

If you do break out the camera and the dunce cap, make sure to drool all over her face

    Yes.

I'm at Fry's right now. As much as I love Fry's, I hate coming every day for the past 5 days.

I'll giggle the whole time too.
