^It's a great mod until you get your first stone chip on the rocker panel.

Plasti dipped my rear bumper today. Not much choice. When I bought it, someone had scraped a sticker off of it. It was black already, and they left a bunch of razor marks. 5 coats of dip. All better now!

I'm already kind of tripping out. I took all the money I had saved for a 6" Fabtech dirt logic with resi setup and spent it on gifts. My dad and I never really got along too well but cars were our main bond other than 49ers football. Well, I'm stealing his 57 Chevy Bel Air and doing my own overhaulin episode. I bought 2" drop spindles for the front, cross drilled slotted rotors with brake booster, stainless lines, and a set of Foose Triple chrome wheels to fit the bigger brakes and tires. Had to go skinny to make sure no rubbing. But that's what I did to my Tacoma today. I stole its fuckin suspension from it :( I dropped GRIPP!!! And my girl is gonna be super pissed because it's out 8 year anniversary Friday and I didn't buy her anything. She's already too well taken care of :/

Some time ago I purchased a Bestop for my 2010 DC LB and today the son and I were getting around to installing it. Everything was going great until we draped the canvas over the frames and began to snap it down. All the snaps working from the rear to the front along the left side of the bed lined up and snapped down fine, the opposite side however, all the snaps were about 4 inches off. It seems the entire cover is too wide for the bed. I called Bestop and gave them the product number and was told that the sides were not sewn correctly and that a new cover would be sent immediately. ARGGGGGG!!!!!!! Try it again next week I guess.

to many to list, check the build thread
Installed the 3 Degree shims this weekend, fat side towards the back of the truck. Vibes are still noticeable, again not terrible but id like them gone. Im going to try taking my carrier bearing drop out tonight, see if that helps. Then add more washers to the drop and see if that helps. Ive done the whole drive line angle measure technique but im math stupid and dont understand it.

I also installed the ammo box in my C channels but used carriage bolts and they want to spin in the channel before the nut gets tight enough to hold the ammo box in place. Im going to use my extra unistrut nuts and get short bolts to finish that install. How many people have the ammo boxes painted black and notice how much heat they produce?

Im probably going to primer the box with grey paint and leave it the lighter color.

Use the T-Slot nuts from Fastenal. No spinning, and you can use allen head bolts so your stuff/knuckles don't catch when reaching into the can.
