Yep, if he is doing well, give him a little bit of time to recover and then go spend some quality time with him.

    Overall yes that is sound.

The time will be better spent once your Granddad is recovering.

Plus an aded benny is that yoy should be able to secure less expensive air fare and possibly spend a few extra days with him.

When my dad was in asisted living I always welcomed my sisters visits from the eastern shore and my brothers visits from North Carolina. This gave my other sister and myself a break from visiting dad and checking on the assisted living folks. Between my sister and myself we visited him every day at different times.

Sorry to hear about Grampa Manny Keith. If your mom says he is doing OK, maybe it would be OK to wait a few days to fly in. There are more than likely plenty of folks around to visit him and they will let you know if you need to get there in a hurry. Best of luck, family is really the most important thing we have when you get right down to it.

Serious question, anyone know if gravity is affected by temperature?

With zero facts to back this up I'ma actually guess yes, regardless of how small the change is.
Normally yes, but for this even insignificant differences matter
Good luck, and asking you to wait isn't a bad thing, just means they want some of the craziness to die down so they can actually enjoy your company.

Thanks for the link, reading it now.

    Then the answer is yes.

My thought would be no since gravity is bassed off of mass and mass doesn't change with temperature. :notsure: just my thoughts.

    Technically speaking,

Mass = Force X Acceleration (Gravity)

Force = Weight x Area of Weights Distribution

As an object expands from heat, it's area increases with the same Weight, and thus exerts a higher force. Thats what my afternoon of research has taught me.

So higher force x gravity would = a higher mass. Larger massed objects produce a higher gravity.

Every seen the gravity map of earth that NASA released??

Your first equation is wrong. F=ma or m = F/A

[IMG]This is the equation for gravitaional force between 2 objects. Simply stated the farther you are from the object, the less the gravitational force is, But it is directly associated to the mass. But if the objects size increases due to temperature, you are now farther away thus reducing the amount of gravitational force.
