I would do it every 15k for regular use...or lets say I will be from now on. I also can't run synthetic like you can and my LSD is mechanical so I have more going on back there then you.

That's e-locker guard...what Ant pictures was totally different.

Just tint and ppl for now.
It seems the BAMF diff skid has problems getting caught on rocks. There is almost a vertical plane in front of the diff that gets caught up. The boztec I got is near horizontal. I didn't get caught on my diff at all. Just banged it up a lot.... Better that than the diff itself.

I probobly exagerated a little but you can kind of see it here. The BAMF has a sharper angle in front. More apparent when you see it for yourself.

Same design though right? My feeling is if you are hitting that spot in the front you took a bad line and need to correct it, not just force your way over.

Here's a front pic of mine to compare.

I def agree with line selection. Sometimes unavoidable though. Hard to tell but seems the same as 2nd gen.

Everyone, I will be attempting to put a charity motorcycle ride together to raise money for one of my closest friends who passed away today to help his family raise money for a proper headstone. Any who rides , any participation donation would be greatly a appreciated. Maybe with some help, we can do an offroad charity event. But I am new to this and mind is already a little fucked. Thanks in advance to those who can help.

Thanks guys. I'll be crawling under soon. If I can ever get out from under this pile of paperwork my ex-coworker left me.

Eddie- sorry to hear about your friend.

As far as diff skids go, my boztec was purchased mainly to protect the drain plug, but the rear of the diff too.

Hey guys, I'm new to this but will buy 5100s and AAL. I will try to install the AAL but I think I'll leave the 5100s to someone who knows what they're doing. Can you suggest a garage who will give me a good price in the Cherryhill area? The dealer quoted me $200.

The 5100s are easy to install you should be alright doing it yourself. Are you using the factory springs?

Installing new shocks are about the same difficulty level as an add a leaf.. And neither is very difficult. If you are going to buy the 5100s with coils already on them it's really simple. If you're going to re use the stock springs, you will need to take the new shocks and the old coil overs to a shop to have them assembled. But the installation is very easy. Do it your self so you know what it's all about and you will be able to notice if anything gets messed up in the future
