2001Tacoma Pre Runner for sale

rnjm@hotmail.com So keeping truck but decided to go back to stock,i have everything i need to go back to stock.I have king coil overs up front fox shocks on the rear and the pre runner 1" lift blocks for the back,all less then a year old,never offroaded the truck.Takeing offers ,it is still on the truck and will remove once sold and paid for.Will post pictures of them when i get a chance.Also if you want the wheels and tires shoot me a offer.I bought everything brand new not used or we can do some sort of trade and cash of course.Thanks

i think so. good mods and clean truck, but for the price i could get an xtra cab 4x4. check craigslist for real market value. i sold my single cab prerunner with like 80k for $5.5k a few years back.

just something to consider not bashing the truck cause i like it. Modifications do not make a vehicle more valuable, in fact many times it will make the value less simply because it has been modified but not all the time.

 

To your point, there is a much smaller market segment that will appreciate modifications and in particular, certain modifications more than others. Many will steer free from modified vehicles for fear that they have been driven harder. Performance modifications lend to this concern. Other modifications, like bug deflectors and things more benign, people might accept without reservation and might appreciate over a vehicle without. It's the things that might raise concerns of risk of expensive repairs that will cause me to ignore a vehicle, even if it looks clean.

 

clean truck, but I definitively think your asking a bit much. I just recently bought a 99 prerunner extra cab at 181k miles for 6 grand and I've been told multiple times that I paid too much

 

so thanks for the feedback and i know i cant get all my money back so as is what do you think its worth.I thought about taking off the lift and wheels and selling it for 5000.00 all nice and stock.

 

Not a bad idea. You might be able to get a better price stock while getting some money for the aftermarket parts you sell separately.

^ those are crazy low prices! Down here in Alabama you cant find a Tacoma for those prices. Right now there is a 2003 Reg Cab Prerunner for sale with 204000 miles for 8500. There are also several 1996 reg cabs with 240000 miles for 5500 and thats about average. If you step up to an ext cab then you cant find a 4x4 with decent miles under 8500-9000 and thats for a 1997 or so, if you step up to a 2002 or so its like 10,000.

Nice truck OP and GLWS. If I wasnt in Alabama I'd jump on that.

 

returning back to stock and parting out the mods is definitely your best bet.

Not worth the shipping bro but thanks.Im scratching my head on this one i really dont want to sell but tired of car pooling in the SS.Its funny when i go in the garage and look outside i can throw my keys in the air and catch one and take that car.But i do love my toyota maybe throw a header on it some driving lights and i dont know i guess spend money on it and keep it.

 

So i was thinking if someone wants it stock,meaning i take suspension off and wheels and tires off i could let it go for around 5500.00.let me know.thanks
