I just put 70k on a 2011 DC short bed and loved the turn radius it had, this will be missed. As I put the 70k on the DC short bed which most of those being off road I always had the thought this is more like a golf cart or buggy than a truck. It could turn on a dime and still load five or six people with no problem. But now that I have purchased the long bed I have to say it feels more like a full size truck on and off the road. I love both of the models because each has its own attributes but I will only purchase the long bed model in the future...

A lifted long bed does look pretty nice to me even though I just bought a short.

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
i don’t like how they look without a lift. they just look to low for how long they are. 3” or 6” lift they look fine. if i needed one i would have got one. did not “NEED” one and they are harder to find around here, so i got the SB.

Long bed... Looks more proportional. SB just looks like it's missing something....maybe that extra foot of bed......lol

Try parking a lifted DCLB on 33"s in downtown LA or Laguna Beach....not happening. That's why I got the SB.

My Tahoe on 35s parked fine when I was in Cali, and my old Silverado ext cab Looooong bed could provide difficulty here and there but I get your point, smaller = easier to park/maneuver. BUT long bed = can carry substantially more IMO

I agree with the capacity, but I can't justify poor maneuvering and a higher risk of getting high centered for an extra 20 cubic feet of space. SB is more than enough for what I need, especially with the Bestop...I can stack shit.

FU!!!! My last car was a VW Rabbit....If it weren't for the backup cam, my neighbors wouldn't have bumpers anymore. :D

Avidoffroad on the step bar. I purchased the step bars with the light bar/ brush guard and it took about 4 weeks to receive.

Long bed is for those that are trying to compensate for shortages in other areas. Just sayin.
