Maybe I'll invite you guys over for a mod day at my house when I get my stuff or this weekend...hmm

 

Whatever works man. I could even have people over here. Just need to bring in extra jacks/stands for your truck. You can also bring the dogs over. Decent sized fenced in backyard.

 

I've run out of mod ideas that don't require piles of money..

 

I feel the same way, your house or mine, doesn't matter to me...we'll get it done! I have half an acre fenced for the dogs if you guys end up over here too. My grill took a dump though, and something tells me we should burn some beef after we do man work...

 

I have a freezer full of meat. Don't ask where it came from though... . Just kidding, but I do have a freezer full. I can bring the grill over too. Maybe we can get some other people who rarely pop in here over there.

 

Diff breather mod is cheap...

You can give me your anthricite headlights in exchange for mine, than do the bhlm...

 

Reminds me. I need to go get some sealant for the headlights in the garage. What sealant should I use?

@Josh...what'd you do with your stock suspension? Did you reuse your top plates with the OME kit? Did you find your moulding you were looking for? All back together?

I do need to do the breather mod. But I'll be keeping my headlights thank you very much. What day you all thinking?

 

Whenever works for me...any day, any time after my parts show up! I am flexible with my time, so I guess its all up to when you guys can make it. I wish my parts were here yesterdayif that tells ya anything

Me too, on the cash...didn't want to spend $299 on shocks right now, but it was due. Especially with new tires installed (want em to last). The ride sucks too, I was blaming the heavy D rated tire for not flexing enough and causing the bad ride. Don't get me wrong, those tires always rode stiff and heavy feeling(<-----sounds really bad, no homo). But the shocks have 95,000 miles on them, and the right rear has about three inches of compression before it thunks and not much else. I think that hanging a wheel and tire combo that weighs +70lbs off of a stock Tacoma suspension is a bad idea and accelerated the wear of the suspension components.

Insurance said about $5k in damage. I'm trying to find a body shop that will get me some money back while still doing good work

Also, since the hood and roof both need replaced, I was thinking about having them painted black instead of SWB, to make the truck unique.
Someone suggested getting the hood carbon fiber- at first I laughed and thought of fast n furious, but found a couple tacomas on here with them and they don't look too bad. What do you guys think? Too ricey? I like the look, and the CF hoods are actually cheaper than buying an OEM hood and painting it, which would put more cash in my pocket. I really can't decide, and feel like I should ask the audience before I make a final decision.
