I had a thought while at Rausch Creek Off Road Park this past weekend. How much did it cost to go 'wheeling for the day? For some, it is just the cost of admission for the day. For others it is the cost of repairs from that day on the trails. For many of us it is the cost of all of the mods that we discover we need to get across the terrain more easily.

So let's hear how much your last trip out cost you, be it in repairs or mods that the trip inspired you to perform. Throw in some pictures of damage that needs repaired if you can. I will start:

6-9-2012. Rausch Creek Off Road Park.

    Admission: $45.00
Replacement LCA adjustment cam tabs from Total Chaos (mine got bent and torn off): $94.00 (incl shipping).
    Total: $139.00

(As a potential cost, I really feel the need to regear, I might have to add $1500 to the total.)

Probably between $60-$120 that is just for gas. I don't normally break stuff on the truck and if I do I usually don't repair it.

EDIT:I dented the underskirt just below the passenger door on the truck and my bumper up front is slightly bent to one side.

    very good thread idea

only ever had to replace a shattered roof light and boken CB antenna from the same trip. only cost $45 to replace both though since i had a spare light at home.

can't imagine how many thousands of dollars it's cost me in proactive parts fabricating and purchasing to keep that number so low though.

Depends on where I'm wheeling. Rausch Creek usually costs me a couple hundred for a day. The high speed stuff comes in well over $10,000 per trip when everything gets factored in, which is why that's shut down for the foreseeable future...

Not the drifting guy, the other one, the 1st Gen who rolled his off road.

I forgot Torspd hydrolocked his  That was because of the rear turbo system I believe. I was referring to the guy from Calgary with the 2nd Gen Superwhite. I believe he now has a snorkel.

2 new tires/wheels; around 1000 bucks for that trip + gas.

generally speaking, usually 50-100 bucks depending on gas prices. :p

So far just the price of gas and admission. I recieved some tires free and mounted them on my 16"OR rims, my blstn 5100 lift and aal, I have a program alignment with NTB, so that gets done after every offroad trip.

This past trips damage is one of my OR rims got banged by a rock and alignment got knocked out, with a possible bent alignment cam tab. So I don't care about the rims, I bent the tab back, and get alignmnet done thursday.

My next big purchases will be armor and reenforcement, eventually upgrade my springs, and get a matching set of offroad tires.

The very first time I went to Rausch, I had just installed the new suspension on the truck. While following the group down a rock strewn trail, I bounced on to a rock, right on the front crossmember. As you might imagine, that makes one hell of a racket. My wife was in the passenger seat, scared that I was going to break my truck. It was not hard to talk her in to a full set of Bud built skids when we got home.

    trip cost:

    Admission: $65.00
    Bud Built skids: $600.00

The next trip, with the new skids installed, it was decided that a set of sliders would be needed for future outings.

    Trip cost:
    Admission: $50.00
    Stubbs HD-SKO sliders: $400.00

Stripped the front ring and pinion last time out. That will cost me about $1500 because im going to put an ARB in the front, but stilll havent fixed it yet. Time before that, stripped the rear ring and pinion. But that was only half the cost. So i havent been wheeling much lately...

Bilstein 5100's on all four with some OME 885x's. Brute Force Fab front bumper. Warn winch. Koenig countersteers wrapped with duratracs.
have yet to get the Rausch Creek Damage assessed.

    Gonna need a new headlight

Dentless paint removal (hopefully that will be enough to fix the fender)

New fender flare around the bumper (lower part where the fog is)

Bumper dent (popped it back out) but will need to buy a plate bumper soon

Drive shaft is dented up but the truck drives just fine

....yet to clean it but its been raining so il find out what else broke later this week

    oh plus $50 admission fee

    and $100 bucks on food/beer/gas

yea it was an expensive day
