DOUBLE USB CHARGER INSIDE CONSOLE (ALL WAYS HOT) WRITE UP

    First I remove the console: took the carpeted mat out of the console, and removed the two bolts from the bottom.

    Then I removed the shift knob by unscrewing it. Then removed the shift lever cover. Just pull it up. That exposes the two screws that hold down the front of the console. Remove the two screws and the console will pop out.

    With a 7/8 WOOD BORING SPADE BIT I drilled the hole for the double USB charger.

    Here is the back of the console, you have to remove the fuzzy material off before drilling.

    There is the charger inside.

    I wired up a 12v outlet for the charger.

    I used some crazy glue to keep it from spinning or getting out. Then I screwed everything up.

    No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
    nice! i have been thinking about adding 2 plugs on the back side of console, for charging cell phones or what ever. mostly for road trips and stuff.
