Noob question, other than a cosmetic blemish on the shock, what are other problems that may occur?

may bend the shafts if the tire binds on the shock body and the suspension continues to articulate.

Depends on how much things rub, how fast you're going, and how long it stays that way. You could wear down your tire sidewall, break a shock mount, or bent a shock shaft with enough force. If you're running bypass shocks you could easily tear off a bypass tube.

    Ok

I stopped by there at lunch. I asked him about it, he said that it just barely touched at full articulation. He mentioned that they may have to change something around, but said that its 50/50 right now.

To tell you how little Shea's rubbed, a 1/4" spacer fixed it

just put on wheel spacers and you should be fine. Mine rubbed on the bypass tubes so i turned my bypasses around, facing the tubes in, and the problem went away. It's just slightly more difficult to access the bypass tubes now but nothing bad.

So I'll be getting rid of my brand new 4.56 nitro gears I got from the group buy. I'll post some pics when I get home but they are brand spanking new. Anyone interested in a trade? If not I'll take 225 with install kit.

The reason I'm getting rid of them they took too long to get to me so I'll be swapping to a 9" and need to get different gears for that. I know a lot of you guys need gears! It's for a 2wd with e-locker and comes with the minor install kit. I'll post a thread later on this but thought id give you guys first dibs.
