hey so i called toyota to see what they could do for me on a suspension lift.

they said they could get me a procomp coilover kit with all procomp shocks.

for 1160 which includes labor alignment and a lifetime warranty.

the main reason i wanted to go through toyota was so just incase anything happens it would be under warranty so what do u guys think?

Your sig says you have the Bilstein 5100s. Those are much better than the procomp shocks. You should set those to 2.5" and then get an add-a-leaf or something about 1.5" to match the front.

ABSOLUTELY. Had one on my 07 and hated it from day one. So, I bought a 09 and went with toytec coil overs in Ultimate lift kit and holy s%*t the kit is AWESOME. Truck virtually rides like it did stock. Go with ProComp and I promise you you'll regret it. Rides rough as hell.

You can set them at 2.5" and get a top spacer to put you at a full three inches. Or combine them with a set of OME coils. You have great shocks on the front right now.

I can't believe Toyota would even put that on. Talk about having warranty issues. I guarantee they will hassle you over all the reasons you take it back to them for. Go with Toytec dude. There is a reason so many people here use them. It is because they specialize in nothing but toyotas. This is their job. Talk to your folks about it. I would not have put their kit on a brand new $30,000 truck if I thought there was going to be a problem. Beside, all you will void on your truck is any suspension warranty and you will have the warranty from Toytec for that.

Crashing and Warranty have little to nothing to do with each other.

If they put something together incorrectly- then they are liable. If they put it together right but the parts are faulty- ProComp, not Toyota is liable.

You can get better parts, and go to a shop and probably still pay less for the whole set up...ie OME Springs with the shocks you have now and an AAL.

Excellant point. The warranty on suspension would be ProComp and as far as Toyota goes with suspension warranties they definately are not batting 1000. Just tell your folks you would rather have parts from a Toyota specialist.
