I need to come clean with you guys. I've been thinking about jeeps. erm A jeep. a new rubicon. I know I can't have one (at least not right now) but its just that it comes with a lot of the off road things that I don't currently have... :sorry::eek::anonymous:

:(:pout: really I just want 4x4 and front and rear lockers. I could do that to my taco for about $3500... maybe more I'm not sure.

They look good, but I could never own one because of the reliability, or lack there of.

I have been pricing everything. new 4wd taco, used 1st gen 4wd, conversion for mine, and..:anonymous:jeeps. the conversion is the best route honestly aprox. 1400 for the 4x4 conversion. $1000 a pop for an arb air locker. and somewhere down the road a winch would be nice added peace of mind

And your rig won't break on you on the trail.

Since you have a pre-runner, SAS 4x4 conversion?

I have so many wishes for my truck its ridiculous. lol I want all that, a softopper, arb bumper, sliders, 5100s for the front to level, rims and tires, and an elite rear bumper. but I understand that I have to pay for college. If that weren't the case the taco would be getting the 4x4 conversion right now. between graduation gifts and paychecks I could get it done but its not at the top of the list right now. I'm probably :deadhorse:for every thing I want. but I hope once I start the semester and get a job closer to college I should be able to start putting money towards my truck :D

Trust me when I say don't blow your cash on flashy car stuff while you are in college... Enjoy what you have, because after college is when you can afford to do the really fun stuff.

I wouldn't mind cutting it up and doing whatever was needed. I have a really hard time doing something like that to my '09.
