^^^ Doh... Taking pictures never really occurred to me at the time Brett :homer: but would have been a great idea. Next time we will need to make sure you can make it in-person :)

Cleaned the garage last night and saw a Craftsman wobble extension and an angle/level gadget (Ben?) that were left behind. Let me know if any of them are yours.

Weekend trip sounds great. Count me in!

Truck is getting alignment right now. Will post a pic when I pick it up this afternoon. Can't wait. :headbang:

Nice! Looking much better already than when I saw it Sunday morning at Mod day. Good to see you fixed the rubbing issue.

Is there any place local where we can all get together and mess around. Doesn't have to be a big trail system or anything. Just get a little dirty and try out the suspension?

Yep  headed down to the dealership to cash in on my free wheel alignment from when I purchased the truck. Specs look great after alignment:

There's a couple of FS roads going up I-90 to Snoqualmie I have yet to try although I've heard they get a decent amount of traffic on nice weekends.

I've tried some FS trails just past the ski resort that were a little tight but not bad. Got a few brush scratches but nothing a machete couldn't prevent. I'd have to look it up again since it just starts between a couple of houses but I think it was here: http://binged.it/LmzCqC

There's also some FS roads off Highway 2 which I've been wanting to try. Don't have much detail about those.

There are some trails by Duvall I've worked but they were ki nda lame unless you want to hit the lakes and catch some trout.

I've been traveling up the forks of the Snoqualmie River which make for a nice afternoon drive but is mostly a 2 lane logging road so not anything of a test for the suspension.

Lastly, I've read a bit about the FS roads by Greenwater which looks most enticing to me: http://binged.it/vmuoeP

Anybody have some experiences with these locations they want to share?

Yup, that angle/level square is mine. I'll come by after work one day and grab it.

I know my way around the Exit 38 forest roads pretty well, although I'm not a big fan of them because they are not very challenging but are annoyingly rocky. They also used to be heavily overgrown but I went up there a few weeks ago and it looks like they have brushed them out so they are clear again.

There are some trails off of I-90 in Hyak on the east side of the pass that are cool, but I'm not sure how legal they are or if they are on private land. Some fun granite rock slabs to crawl up. They depart immediately from the shoulder of I-90 and are not gated or anything.

Then there are some fun trails down near S. Prairie/Burnett that I am pretty sure are on DNR land, with some fun stuff to play on under some powerlines, but again -- not sure if access is legit.

And of course Evan's Creek south of Carbonado... I've been wanting to do TW trip there for a while, at least to run the lower 311 trail.

I think that spot in Greenwater is near the Naches trail. I've been on part of the Naches trail, but it was a bear to get to and was overgrown enough to scratch the piss out of my clearcoat. I'm not sure about that gravel pit in the link though.

I see those roads from I-90 right after the pass (going east) everytime I go by and I have always wanted to go check them out. Not sure if legal though haha.

I may or may not have access to a DNR master key...... :spy:

Not sure how it is up here, but Oregon rule of thumb was if it has no gate/open gate, no signs, and indications that it's not a path someone blazed or destroyed by mud, it's good to try. Anything with an NF number was a good sign.

BTW, you guys might want to start a NW BS thread or just join the OR/WA thread... kinda weird planning a wheeling trip in a mod day thread... that's already happened... :p
