    I think in previous group buys everyone orders exactly what they need/want and then gets the group buy discount. At least that's what the threads have made it sound like.

    someone has to contact the vendor, usually the OP, to get things rolling.

    okole just did a GB for TW not too long ago so it might be a while before they are willing to do another one. I personally inquired about 4 days ago and have not heard back.
