Who steals an antenna??

So long story short. I leave work the other morning and the radio is all static. Which happens sometimes if my phone is charging, but it wasn't. So I immediately turn my head and see my antenna is gone. I jumped out to make sure it wasn't laying on the ground. I know it was there when I got to work because I was listening to the radio as I pulled in. Stupid fucking thieves.

Anyway, wheres the best place to get a replacement. I have a stock HU and probably will for a while. If that makes a bit of difference.

Hah what the fuck? I've been wanting to make a mod that other people will do now I think it's gonna have to be an anti-antenna theft mod. Sorry for your loss man.

A lot of people have those short antennas (dunno if you've seen one) but they're better I think and auto zone sells antennas to.

 

Someone without one.

I would just check out your local Toyota dealer if you just want stock.

Did you look super good around/under the truck? Mine was always loose and ready to fall off. Then I tightened it hella and it never got loose again. But then again if they stole it, at least they left the truck alone. Someone BROKE mine off of the Trans Am, used the jagged broken end to scratch the heck out of it and left it on my hood.

 

I live in the middle of nowhere and worry that the reception on the short one wouldn't be as good. please correct me if Im wrong. And max-4 I had thought of using that or an old aluminum arrow shaft with the big ass feathers.

I was jk about the coat hanger, You can find the short ones on Amazon for about 15 bucks. FWIW I shortened my stock one and the signal is still the same.

 

No one is trying to be a dick.. but there's no point crying over spilt milk. Toyota makes the trucks... Toyota makes the parts... check with a dealer... it's about $25. Problem solved... Posse, stand down!

Good point. I like optimism. But yeah I looked really good. I went to my truck during the night and opened my tool box to look for something. I have a feeling someone was paying attention and when they saw all I had in the tool box was 4 bottles of water and an almost empty bag of rock salt they took the antenna. Who knows.
