When I take off my side steps...

Since the stock side steps are bolted into the body of the truck itself. What should I use to fill the holes where the side steps were originally?

 

I just used some RTV. Toyota sells the actual plugs to fill the holes if you wanted to go that route.

 

why would you take them off?

 

just put some bolts in there to keep the crap out, mine came with plastic inserts, i guess you can call them that, i dont think you want to buy those from toyota.

 

Can you get them at your local Dealership? How much for 6?

I found a buyer for them so I will have to send the hardware with the steps... If the plugs are too expensive ill just get some Automotive caulk

 

You should be able to get them there. Most likely they will be a little pricey. Another thing you could look into are the little push plug Christmas tree thingy's. I know they sell them at the auto parts store for cheap.

 

just go to your local automotive store and buy some metric bolts and put them in.
