Post it up! I figured since they are such a small place, they'd want an idea of how many of us goons will fit in there and want to be fed. Good plan.

Just a bunch of old crap
    Regarding this whole east/west thing...

I think this all came to light when a huge proportion of AZ meets were taking place at trite and overused locations like Sycamore or as groupie-like congregations at east-side businesses. There seem to be fewer active west-side members on TW, but I think that's due to the average older age. All of us westies who are regulars on here all have full-time jobs, families, etc. while a large percentage of east-siders who post regularly are single, have odd schedules, live at home, are under 21, etc. Age and schedules created the riff.

I don't like that for almost the past year and a half most every meet has been across town. It sucks but I just don't go if I can't make it. I do know that I've put together some pretty bad-ass meet threads with payouts such as awesome secret camp spots, unique ideas like crawdading, convoys up great trails like Crown King, etc. and the turnout by folks on the east side was next to nothing. I personally don't care, but don't say that we don't offer up any good ideas. I'll list the links of great ideas I've had.

To me, going to an off-road shop and standing around staring at off-road shit I won't buy is not fun. Not a single person on here is going to buy a kit rally car, and I doubt they'll sell even one just because some folks hung around in the parking lot. It's just not worth the drive like a camp trip or trail run is. I'm past the groupie thing, and that stuff doesn't impress me like it used to when I was younger. I've discussed this with other members on here and they agree so I'll speak for them.

There's no universal meet that everyone will enjoy. Obviously. Now that I know many of you on here to some extent, even if it's just virtually, I will tailor my meet invites accordingly.

Seriously guys this whole east/west thing has got to stop. I thought we settled this months ago.

Most of the meets we do on the east side of the valley are last minute things, and 99% of the time is just a bunch of us friends hanging out and throwing an invite out to anyone else that wishes to tag along. There's no expectation from us that someone drives from Glendale to make it out for a bite and a pint... but if you're bored and want to you're welcome to we enjoy the company.

That's it, that's all there is too it. Don't like it, ignore it. Pretty simple peeps.

I'm definitely ready for another pizza meet. The last one at Red Devil was fun, but quick.

Looks like I may be going to the Puscifer concert in Prescott on the 30th. Haven't bought tickets yet, just waiting for the girl to see if she can use PTO that day. Last day of the month in retail sales is tough to get time off for.

I'm waaaay east of most of you guys. It's usually a 30-45 mile drive to meet up with any of the "east sider crew". That's probably why I'm usually on my Harley...cheaper on gas.

Why does it have to be just east west, why can't it be north south. Us southern AZ folks (Tucson) feel left out by all you northern Phoenix guys.

Now I am going to go cry myself to sleep on my pillow!!!! :p
